Human Mobile
An unprecedented presentation of aerial performance.
The Human Mobile is an aerial performance art installation illustrating the human potential to soar through the dramatic action of the sculpture combined with a poetic interaction of the Mobilists.
The Human Mobile is the classic configuration: up to 4 Mobilists counterbalancing each other with precarious perfection. Three precision engineered sculptural crescent trusses support the Mobilists on their custom designed apparatus.
A final Counterweight to the Human Mobile can be provided or custom fabricated (such as the Snowflake or a fabric printed “moon”)
A single rigging point (chain motor) is required with a minimum height of 30 feet and a rotational circumference of 30 feet.
Mini Mobiles
The Human Mobile Deconstructed
Each truss piece of the Human Mobile can be separated to have an installation/performance of three smaller, singular Mobiles. The Mini Mobiles consist of the Sculptural Truss, 1 Mobilist, “Fish Tail Truss” and brandable final counterweight. Following the performance, the Crescent top truss unit can be removed and the Fishtail/Branded Counterweight unit can reascend as Aerial Decor for the remainder of the event.
The minimum Rigging Height for the Human Mobile is 20 feet with a rotational circumference of 20 feet.
A complete technical rider will be provided upon request.
Both installations can be presented with the Mobilists pre-set cocooned within brandable spandex “pods” covering the Mobile Apparatus which unzip from within to expose the artists or with the Mobilists exposed from the start.
Branding/Customization: The Crescent truss, Mobilist “pods,” and Final Counterweight Moon can be spandex covered in any color and custom printed.
